Management Trainee, Industrial Electrical Engineer and Facility Electrician

1. Facility Electrician

The successful candidates will report to the Plant Engineer and responsibilities will include:

Inspect electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards, defects and ensure conformance with international standards
Connect wire circuit breakers, transformers or other components
Manage electrical workshop and coordinate the requisition and ordering of electrical spares
Manage team and individual performance through regular reviews, monitor objectives and ensure development needs are identified and implemented

2. Industrial Electrician

The successful candidates will report to the Plant Engineer and responsibilities will include:

Perform basic programming on PLC
Perform machine installation and commissioning, machine troubleshooting and repairs such as electronic board repairs
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety and safety of systems according to the maintenance schedule and all safety and standard operating procedures
 Keep log of all electrical maintenance
Perform other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Experience Facility Electrician and Industrial Electrician

B.Sc. or HND with a minimum of second class lower/lower credit in electrical/electronic engineering
 Membership of COREN
Be proficient in general computer usage as well as sound AutoCAD Software knowledge and expertise
Not be less than 26 years old by December 2016
Have a CAN DO Attitude, commercial orientation and understanding of business issues
Minimum of 12 years work experience in a similar position in the manufacturing sector preferably in printing and packaging industry
